The Office of Development and Campus Advancement
Representing Development and the Alumni Association
Washington State University at Tri-Cities plays a crucial role in the mid-Columbia region's efforts to diversify its economy and provide a sound base for the future. The campus is a full partner in education, research, and public service conducted by WSU. Collaboration with the community has made WSU Tri-Cities a key player in work force diversification, premier education and information resources, applied research, and public service.
WSU Tri-Cities continues to develop regional partnerships that align community priorities with university expertise to create a dynamic learning environment focused on local issues. Internships that test classroom theory against real world experience provide students with valuable insight and businesses the opportunity to educate students about their issues and challenges. Battelle provides research collaborations and adjunct faculty that bring life experience and world-class knowledge directly onto campus, a benefit to faculty and students alike. These are two examples of the benefit of having a research facility immersed into the fabric of the community. Continuing partnerships will pay dividends that we are only beginning to imagine. The Campus Advancement staff is available to help you make your best connection to higher education in the Columbia Basin region.
